You will translate business requirements into a robust architecture, lead technical design and decisions, validate migration approaches, guide integration and data transformation patterns, and provide technical leadership across vendor, onshore/offshore, and client engineering teams., * Define the target-state CRM solution architecture across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and identity/access architecture.
- Produce architecture artifacts: solution diagrams, component interfaces, sequence flows, and non-functional requirement (NFR) mappings.
- Own data model mapping from Salesforce objects/custom objects to Dynamics entities and the Power Platform.
- Define extraction, transformation, deduplication, enrichment, reconciliation, and archival strategies.
- Validate tooling choices (e.g. Microsoft Migration Toolkit, KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory) and develop data validation and reconciliation patterns.
- Design integration patterns (real-time APIs, event-driven, batch, middleware) and sequencing for dependent systems (ERP, CPQ, marketing, support tools).
- Specify interface contracts, idempotency, error-handling, backpressure, and retry semantics.
- Ensure integration observability and monitoring approach.
- Specify environment strategy (DEV/INT/UAT/PRE-PROD/PROD), environment provisioning, and data masking approaches.
- Define CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment guards for Dynamics and Azure-hosted components.
- Architect role- and attribute-based access control, field-level security, and segregation of duties for Dynamics.
- Ensure designs meet data protection, encryption, logging, audit trail, and regulatory constraints (GDPR, HIPAA where applicable).
- Define secure secret management and key rotation for integrations.
- Set performance targets and capacity planning approach; define caching, throttling, and scaling strategies.
- Design resilience and fault-tolerance for integrations and migration processes, including rollback and retry strategies.
- Define test strategy for unit, integration, performance, data reconciliation, and user acceptance testing.
- Create migration cutover architecture: incremental/federated approaches, pilot runs, dress rehearsals, and rollback plan.
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and coding/solution reviews.
- Act as the escalation point for technical trade-offs, prepare decision records (ADR), and support governance boards.
- Mentor solution/technical architects, lead technical workshops and vendor evaluations.
- Work with Engagement Manager, Delivery Manager, Product Owners, InfoSec, and business SMEs to align on architecture decisions and risks.
