Job description

Persistent Systems is looking for a Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of experience in developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices., * Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications.

  • Develop scalable Microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud deployments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns, OOP concepts, and multithreading.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
  • Experience with Hibernate and JPA.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, or Grafana., * Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
