Job description

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web-based software applications. Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, quality assurance teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Apply secure software development principles and industry best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and promote engineering rigor across development teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and retrospectives. Develop and maintain automated tests while supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications to improve performance and reliability. Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing mission-critical enterprise applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated software engineer with a passion for building high-quality web applications, driving engineering excellence, and working within an Agile development environment., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Strong experience developing web-based applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Ionic, GWT, SmartGWT, Qt, or Node.js. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, or BDD. Strong understanding of secure software development practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with RESTful or SOAP web services. Experience with Git, GitHub, or other source control tools. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, JUnit, or Ant. Experience with DevOps concepts and software quality automation. Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or SQLite. Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WildFly, or JBoss. Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne. Experience with mobile application development is a plus.
