• Manage database backup and recovery processes
• Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks
• Implement and enforce database security measures
• Create and maintain database schemas and structures
• Support database migrations and upgrades

Bachelor's Degree DEGREE (Focus) Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Database Management, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, etc. ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit., * Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL

• Expertise in Oracle database tools (e.g., RMAN, OEM)
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning
• Experience with database replication technologies
• Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Ability to write and debug database scripts

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
• Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud)
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
