Job description

Experian is seeking a senior Software Engineer (ETL) to lead the migration of enterprise ETL workloads and databases from on-premises environments to the AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, DataStage/Informatica, Python, Shell scripting, Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL, and cloud-native ETL architecture.

The consultant will lead ETL modernization, data validation, production support, API integration, and cloud migration while ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead migration of on-prem ETL jobs to AWS Cloud.
  • Design and develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
  • Develop and maintain DataStage/Informatica ETL processes.
  • Build scalable data integration solutions.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation.
  • Develop APIs and integrate backend services.
  • Automate ETL orchestration using Step Functions and Airflow.
  • Provide production support for ETL jobs and cloud environments.
  • Perform impact analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Develop technical documentation, data mappings, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and development teams.
  • Ensure data security, governance, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Recent Automotive Industry experience is Mandatory
  • Old & verified LinkedIn profile with profile picture is required
  • Strong AWS ETL migration experience is required., * Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of ETL development experience.
  • Strong AWS cloud development experience.
  • Hands-on AWS Glue and PySpark expertise.
  • Strong SQL and data warehousing experience.
  • Experience with DataStage or Informatica.
  • Strong Shell, Python, and Perl scripting skills.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Git and Jenkins.
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Recent Automotive Industry experience.
  • AWS Certification required., * AI/ML experience
