Job description

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications that support Financial Crimes capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and refined user stories.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software components and data pipelines.
  • Lead data sourcing, analysis, modeling, and provisioning for AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.
  • Estimate effort, perform proofs of concept, and mitigate delivery risk across the lifecycle.
  • Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines and support change management and platform upgrades.
  • Partner with Production Support, Platform, and Business teams to manage upstream and downstream changes.
  • Promote and apply engineering best practices, governance, and standards at project and program levels.
  • Analyze present state, define future state options, and facilitate implementation with measurable outcomes.
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and timelines to managers, peers, and business partners.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer to join our Financial Crimes technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering for AML and surveillance platforms and a proven ability to design, build, and optimize large-scale data provisioning solutions across distributed environments., * 10+ years of software development and data engineering experience in enterprise environments.

  • Teradata 16.x with strong SQL/BTEQ, TPT, and SQL performance tuning.
  • ETL development with Informatica 10.x and data migration/conversion experience.
  • Hadoop ecosystem on Cloudera CDP, including Hive, Impala, PySpark, and Scala.
  • UNIX shell scripting and workload automation with Autosys.
  • CI/CD tools and processes: Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
  • Proven data sourcing, data modeling, and data provisioning skills for AML and surveillance use cases.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Business domain knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes.
  • Experience coordinating development across distributed teams.
