Technical Specialist, Data Engineering

This full-time position in the Southeast region involves contributing to an in-house data platform. The role requires expertise in data engineering and transformation technologies, with a focus on building robust data solutions using open-source tools. Contribute to the development of an internal data platform. Collaborate with team leads to design and implement data solutions. Utilize vendor-neutral technologies to consolidate data functions. Provide external industry expertise to enhance data strategies. Engage in strategic pivots from previous data partnerships., Design and implement data movement from transactional to analytical databases. Utilize change data capture tools and concepts effectively. Model data for both transactional and analytical environments. Perform end-to-end data transformations using open-source tools. Deploy and manage solutions on cloud infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with data movement from OLTP to OLAP systems. Practical knowledge of change data capture methodologies. Strong understanding of data modeling in analytical formats. Experience with data transformation processes. Ability to manage cloud-based data solutions.
