Join a digital modernization team as a UI Developer / Accessibility Expert focused on building accessible, user-centered enterprise web applications. This role specializes in frontend engineering and accessibility implementation, working closely with UX Architects and accessibility specialists to deliver scalable, standards-compliant user interfaces.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HTML5, CSS/SASS, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, and WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards, ensuring digital experiences are inclusive, compliant, and aligned with modern web standards., Key ResponsibilitiesFront-End Development
- Develop clean, semantic, and maintainable HTML5
- Create responsive CSS and SASS stylesheets
- Develop accessible, reusable user interface components
- Follow established frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices
Accessibility Implementation
- Implement WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards
- Apply ARIA landmarks, roles, and accessibility attributes
- Ensure compliance with color contrast requirements
- Implement keyboard navigation and focus management
- Ensure compatibility with screen readers, including:
- NVDA
- JAWS
- VoiceOver
- Perform accessibility testing using tools such as axe DevTools and WAVE
Front-End Integration
- Integrate frontend user interfaces into:
- Angular applications
- ASP.NET MVC applications
- Maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable frontend code
Collaboration & Enterprise Initiatives
- Partner with UX Architects and accessibility specialists to implement enterprise accessibility standards
- Communicate frontend requirements and accessibility best practices to technical and business stakeholders
- Support enterprise initiatives by developing:
- Reusable interface components
- Chatbot interfaces
- Shared application features
- Promote consistent accessibility standards and user experiences across multiple applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
