• Analyze and define system requirements for space missions

General comment on degrees: Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. • Experience with spacecraft systems integration
• Strong understanding of space mission design and analysis
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics
• Familiarity with satellite subsystems (e.g., propulsion, power, thermal)

• Experience with satellite communication systems
• Familiarity with space mission planning software
• Knowledge of space system testing and qualification processes
