Requirements
Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking an entry-level Computer/Data Scientist to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field who has a passion for transforming data into meaningful visualizations and actionable insights.
Working alongside experienced government and contractor personnel, you will develop dashboards, communicate data-driven insights, and support decision-making for Department of Defense programs using Microsoft and Palantir technologies., * Active Secret Clearance (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Entry-level experience (0-2 years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft or Palantir platforms (academic, internship, or professional experience accepted).
- Understanding of data visualization principles and the ability to communicate insights through effective storytelling.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel., * Familiarity with Army Logistics operations.
- Familiarity with Army Vantage.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience using SQL or Python for basic data analysis.
- Internship or project experience supporting government or defense organizations.
