Job description

As a Data Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for pre-sales, estimation, scoping, designing, implementing, and testing proposed modern analytic solutions. Working closely with our client partners, you'll develop relationships with key technical resources while delivering tangible business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Manage the Data engineering lifecycle including research, proof of concepts, architecture, design, development, test, deployment, and maintenance

  • Ability to collaborate with team members to design and implement technology that aligns with client business objectives

  • Ability to build proof of concepts for a modern analytics stack supporting a variety of Cloud-based Business Systems for potential clients

  • Experience working with ETL/ELT technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, Snowflake OpenFlow, Apache NiFi and other similar ETL/ELT tools

  • Experience working with analytic technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Omni, Looker and other similar analytic tools

  • Experience working with cloud enabled data repositories such as Snowflake, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Team management experience and ability to manage, mentor and develop talent of assigned junior resources

  • Ability to create actionable recommendations based on identified platform, structural and/or logic problems

  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate a clear understanding of client business needs, goals, and objectives

  • Ability to collaborate with other practices on Solution Proposals, Pre-Sales Activities, Estimation, Scoping and Solutions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience developing industry -leading business intelligence and analytic solutions

  • 5+ years of experience writing Business requirements, Use cases and/or user stories, preferably for data warehouse or data mart initiatives

  • 5+ years of SQL development including advanced analytic functions

  • 3+ years of consulting experience working on project-based delivery using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • 4+ years of experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.)

  • 3+ years of experience creating functional test cases and supporting user acceptance testing

  • 3+ years of experience in Agile/Kanban/DevOps Delivery

  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage projects and teams against planned work

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationship on projects

  • Ability to support sales cycles by leading orals sessions along with building POC solutions for clients

  • Ability to travel

Preferred Skills:

  • SnowPro certification

  • 5+ years experience developing in Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud data platform

  • 3+ years of experience with modern tech stack tools such as Jenkins, Kafka, Messaging, Kubernetes

  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, statistics, data science and data infrastructure ecosystems

Spaulding Ridge is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the United States across locations is reflected below. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on a range of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Please note that the range provided is subject to change at any time in accordance with internal policies and applicable law.

Salary Range

$116,000-$223,000 USD
