Job description
As a Systems Engineer, you will serve as the technical cornerstone for manufacturing operations, driving system excellence through the implementation of automated solutions and advanced processes. This role is critical in maintaining system integrity, developing comprehensive documentation, and ensuring seamless integration across the technology stack. You will be the primary subject matter expert for manufacturing execution systems, leading technical implementations, maintaining master data governance, developing training programs, and providing critical support for manufacturing operations. Working cross-functionally, you will streamline workflows through automation, resolve technical issues, and continuously enhance systems to improve operational efficiency., * Lead technical implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), such as Tulip.
- Provide expertise during new feature development and testing, and develop system architecture and integration solutions between platforms.
- Create and maintain system documentation, technical material, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Design and implement automated workflows and system controls.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple stakeholders and drive adoption.
- Manage system enhancement projects from requirements through deployment and ensure compliance with change management procedures.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and analytical reports to support business decision-making and monitor KPIs.
- Establish and maintain master data governance frameworks, troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical support.
- Perform root cause corrective action (RCCA) analysis for system issues and conduct periodic system health checks.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, system engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Technical Skills: Expert knowledge in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is required, with expertise in implementing and configuring supply chain systems. Proficiency is required in data analysis, programming, system integration, SQL, and API integrations. Experience in technical writing and requirements documentation is also necessary.
