Technical Specialist - Senior - High

• Develop and maintain data migration scripts, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows using Python
• Design, build, and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading between databases, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Optimize data processes for speed, reliability, and scalability
• Work with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support migration and reporting
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including cloud apps, on premises systems, and flat files
• Collaborate with business teams to define reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Analyze data quality issues, reconcile datasets, and implement best practices for data integrity
• Implement automation for recurring data tasks and reporting workflows
• Maintain documentation for data processes, source mappings, and migration steps
• Participate in architecture, design, and planning sessions for data modernization projects

1. Strong hands-on experience with Python- 7 years
2. Proficiency with Power BI- 5 years
3. Experience designing and executing data migration or data conversion projects- 7 years
4. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Ingres)- 7 years
5. Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements- 7 years
6. Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
7. Senior level experience writing optimized SQL queries and analyzing existing SQL queries for performance improvements- 7 years
8. Solid understanding of SOAP/REST APIs, backend architecture, and microservices- 5 years

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)- 3 years
2. Experience with Java development- 5 years
3. Experience with version control (Git/Subversion) and CI/CD pipelines- 3 years
4. Knowledge of Power BI administration, workspaces, gateways, and deployment strategies- 3 years
5. Experience with large-scale migration or modernization initiatives- 5 years

7. Experience with Perl for scripting, system utilities, or legacy app maintenance- Years
