Job description

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing application functionality for the Judicial Partner Application (JPA) platform. Deliverables include:

  • Developing new features and enhancements
  • Maintaining existing application functionality
  • Creating and updating technical documentation
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Resolving defects
  • Supporting the successful delivery of software solutions that align with business and technical requirements

The candidate will collaborate with project stakeholders and development team members to ensure deliverables meet quality, performance, and project objective.

Project Milestones and Schedule

The selected candidate will provide application development support for the duration of the project, contributing to the design, development, implementation, testing, and ongoing enhancement of the Judicial Partner Application (JPA) platform to ensure project milestones and deliverables are successfully achieved.

Responsibilities

  • The vendor will provide project activity plan(s) and schedule(s) agreeable to the ITD Manager.
  • The vendor will assign a primary contact that will be responsible for all formal communications between the vendor and the ITD manager in regards to the contract.
  • The vendor must initiate and provide a criminal background check for submitted contractors.
  • The vendor and contractor will act in a professional manner and abide by all rules set forth by the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
  • The contractor will report to the ITD manager and will be expected to communicate on a regular basis (as determined by the ITD manager) with all project stakeholders.
  • The selected contractor will follow State disciplines standards, including use of State templates, methods and forms.

Requirements

NET Development/C# Development

  • 5-7 years of experience performing more complex analysis, design progressively, and development for software applications.
  • 5-7 years of software development experience using ASP.NET/C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, MVC framework, and Web API.
  • Strong communication skills to partner and facilitate interactions with project stakeholders and other application teams.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MS SQL Server databases and SQL programming.
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Experience with responsive web design and development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor''s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent information technology and computer programming training that includes certification from an accredited technical school of programming.
  • Courts or government experience
