Job description

Job Description: (reads a little different than what we discussed so I would take both types of profiles), Opportunity to contribute to core technology infrastructure at Bank of America using API-driven cloud and container engineering technology. Agile sprint-based delivery of lean container base image technology for lightweight runtimes like OpenJDK, .Net and middleware runtimes including Apache and Tomcat. Hands-on engineering delivery of internal cloud technology using Terraform, Java Microservices and modern automation best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong Java
  • Cucumber (automation testing)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to ramp quickly

Nice to Have:

  • Financial services
  • Containerization experience
  • Kubernetes, Core Java Programming Golang / Terraform / TFE skills

Strong Java Microservices developer

Experience with working with OCI container based Private cloud: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker/podman

Experience with Spring framework: Spring Boot, Java, Transactional backend development

Software development skills: Git source control, branch/merge, pull requests

Basic knowledge of Linux and systems automation

Experience with working in Agile enterprise environment: SCRUM, Standups

Experience with test driven development: Cucumber

Java microservice / Java

Desired Skills

Strong organization, writing, communication skills

Experience with financial sector
