Job description

  • Provide direct technical trading floor application support to our DMC business partners
  • Troubleshoot/analyze and triage application and trading issues
  • Monitor application environment for issues
  • Assist in application maintenance and deployment activities
  • Provide Disaster Recovery Testing support
  • Participate in a rotational support schedule for critical production systems.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work with schedules / resources while remaining focused on team goals
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills; Core problem solving skills, ability to analyze available data and potential solutions, eliminate possible solutions and select an optimal solution
  • Ability to work and co-ordinate with multiple remote teams
  • Ability to work independently and excellent problem-solving skills are a must
  • Willingness to take ownership of issues and ability to see them thru to resolution, * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Experience supporting large scale, 24/7, real time mission critical systems
  • Experience in financial business processes
  • 1-2 years Linux, SQL, WebSphere, Windows Cloud technologies, Incident management
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL
  • Working knowledge of Middleware (WebSphere, MQ Series, Autosys, etc.), and J2EE a plus
  • Experience supporting trading, financial, or other mission-critical enterprise applications is preferred

Benefits & conditions

$52,000 - $91,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
