Job description
- Provide direct technical trading floor application support to our DMC business partners
- Troubleshoot/analyze and triage application and trading issues
- Monitor application environment for issues
- Assist in application maintenance and deployment activities
- Provide Disaster Recovery Testing support
- Participate in a rotational support schedule for critical production systems.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work with schedules / resources while remaining focused on team goals
- Strong debugging and analytical skills; Core problem solving skills, ability to analyze available data and potential solutions, eliminate possible solutions and select an optimal solution
- Ability to work and co-ordinate with multiple remote teams
- Ability to work independently and excellent problem-solving skills are a must
- Willingness to take ownership of issues and ability to see them thru to resolution, * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Experience supporting large scale, 24/7, real time mission critical systems
- Experience in financial business processes
- 1-2 years Linux, SQL, WebSphere, Windows Cloud technologies, Incident management
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages
- Strong knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL
- Working knowledge of Middleware (WebSphere, MQ Series, Autosys, etc.), and J2EE a plus
- Experience supporting trading, financial, or other mission-critical enterprise applications is preferred

$52,000 - $91,000 Annual
