Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in New York City. This is a hands-on senior-level position focused on building scalable automation frameworks, improving testing processes, and ensuring high-quality software releases across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and enterprise application testing. This role requires close collaboration with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)., * Lead end-to-end QA strategy including functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Build and execute automated test suites for Web, API, and backend applications.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Review business requirements and technical designs to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Perform manual testing for complex business scenarios and exploratory testing.
  • Validate APIs, backend services, databases, and system integrations.
  • Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Track testing progress, release readiness, quality metrics, and project risks.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Grooming Sessions, and Retrospectives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Software QA/Automation Testing experience.
  • Strong experience building Automation Frameworks.
  • Enterprise Application Testing experience.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
