Job description
Hardware/Electrical or FPGA Engineer with experience designing electrical hardware and firmware for advanced electronic systems supporting aviation security products.
Requirements
Expertise in new product development, sustaining engineering, FPGA based high speed digital design, embedded systems, and data acquisition hardware. Experienced in schematic capture, PCB layout, system wiring, high speed routing, LVDS, channel link, signal integrity, and hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
Proficient in VHDL, finite state machines, clock domain crossing, asynchronous data collection, MCU design, and FPGA integration with mixed signal ASICs and third party IP. Skilled with Xilinx ISE, FPGA simulation, testbench development, Altium, Ethernet, sFPDP, Aurora, I2C, SPI, and Linux.
Works effectively with cross functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and service to deliver products from prototype through production. Strong technical communication, analytical problem solving, and documentation skills.
