Job description
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to provide senior-level functional and technical support for an enterprise PeopleSoft CAPPS Financials environment, with primary responsibility for the Travel & Expense (T&E) module. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, system configuration, production support, functional analysis, testing, reporting, security, and enterprise financial systems. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and managed service vendors to ensure the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the CAPPS Financials platform., PeopleSoft CAPPS Functional Support Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the CAPPS Travel & Expense (T&E) module. Provide production support, troubleshoot functional issues, and resolve system defects. Configure and maintain PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Travel & Expense. Lead business process improvements and support system enhancements. Coordinate application releases, patches, and change management activities. Support module integrations across Financials applications. Develop reports and provide analytical support for business users. Deliver end-user training and ongoing functional support. Functional Configuration Configure and maintain:
Travel & Expense Business Units Expense Types and Categories Expense Reports and Cash Advances Travel Authorizations Per Diem and Mileage Rates Corporate Credit Card Integrations Approval Workflows and Routing Rules Tax Configuration Accounting Defaults and ChartField Mapping Accounts Payable and General Ledger Integrations CAPPS System Codes Technical Responsibilities Utilize PeopleSoft Application Designer for application support. Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries. Customize reports using SQR and BI Publisher. Support PeopleSoft security, including multi-tenancy requirements. Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect enterprise systems. Batch Processing & Production Support Monitor CAPPS batch jobs and scheduled processes. Track job execution and resolve processing failures. Validate batch outputs and maintain processing documentation. Coordinate job scheduling, dependencies, and performance optimization. Escalate production issues following established procedures. System Administration & Tools Work with:
PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Change Assistant Fluid User Interface Lifecycle Management Selective Adoption Elasticsearch/Search Framework Data Migration Compare Reports Project & Business Support Gather and analyze business requirements. Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs). Support break/fix activities and system enhancements. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing. Participate in module implementations and enterprise projects. Support Fiscal Year-End activities and system maintenance. Coordinate with technical teams and managed service vendors. Service Desk & Incident Management Provide advanced Level 2 application support. Resolve complex production incidents. Manage incidents using ServiceNow, BOSSDesk, or similar ticketing systems. Participate in Major Incident Management (P1/P2) activities. Support Disaster Recovery and Upgrade Testing. Compliance & Governance Ensure solutions comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards. Follow ITIL best practices for ITSM and ITAM. Support SOC-1 audits and security compliance initiatives. Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise PeopleSoft Financials environments. Extensive experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Travel & Expense (T&E). Strong experience with PeopleSoft system configuration and functional support. Hands-on experience with Application Designer, SQL, SQR, BI Publisher, and Integration Broker. Experience supporting CAPPS Financials or comparable enterprise ERP systems. Strong knowledge of batch processing, production support, and enterprise system monitoring. Experience with PeopleSoft security, multi-tenancy, and NIST security best practices. Experience with PUM, Change Assistant, Fluid UI, and Elasticsearch. Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and IT Asset Management principles. Experience supporting Disaster Recovery testing and production upgrades. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger (GL). Experience supporting PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Payable (AP). Experience working in large enterprise or public sector ERP environments. Experience presenting to executive leadership and business stakeholders. Experience managing enterprise financial system implementations and enhancements.
