Job description

  • Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, and Absence Management.
  • Translate complex business and payroll requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions, supporting configuration, integrations, data conversion, and system optimization.
  • Drive all phases of Oracle Fusion HCM implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT/Parallel Payroll), cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
  • Troubleshoot complex payroll, timekeeping, tax, deduction, and employee data issues while supporting integrations, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and Oracle resources to deliver high-quality solutions, documentation, reporting, and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

Sparks Group has partnered with a renowned government transportation contractor to seek a highly skilled Senior Oracle Fusion HCM Consultant to lead and support a large-scale enterprise migration from PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll to Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud. This role requires a highly skilled functional consultant with extensive Oracle Fusion HCM expertise, strong payroll knowledge, and a proven history of delivering full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate thrives in complex enterprise environments and partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to deliver scalable HCM solutions., * Bachelor's degree required; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification required

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a Payroll Manager-level role supporting enterprise organizations within financial services, real estate, government, or public/private sector environments.
  • Extensive Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud experience with expertise across Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and multiple full lifecycle Oracle Fusion HCM implementations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Oracle reporting and integration tools including OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Payroll-to-GL integrations.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
