Job description

Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Unity Developer who loves bringing complex and fun systems to life, to help secure a strong worldwide launch and scale our game to last years in live operations.

We're building an ambitious mobile free-to-play casual game that combines engaging social gameplay and a rich art direction.

Our cross-functional team of 13+ contributors includes veterans from leading free-to-play studios, passionate about crafting a polished player experience supported by a sustainable, data-driven business model. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth., * Develop, optimize, and maintain core gameplay systems, UI, tools, and pipelines in Unity (C#).

  • Work closely with the product owner, frontend and backend engineers, designers, artists and animators to build and iterate on existing and new features and live-ops systems.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure performance, stability, and scalability across a wide range of mobile devices.
  • Participate in code reviews, write documentation, provide technical guidance, and help maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

Please note: you must have at least 6+ years of professional experience in Unity (C#) building commercial mobile games. to be considered for this role., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 6+ years of professional experience in Unity (C#) building commercial mobile games.
  • Strong grasp of software architecture, version control, data structures, game programming patterns and optimization for mobile performance.
  • Shipped at least 1 mobile free-to-play title and contributed to live support during post-production.
  • Hands-on and proactive individual, comfortable working in an Agile, cross-disciplinary, fully remote and global team.
  • Familiarity with games-as-a-service needs, mechanics, design principles.
  • Fluent English with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for games!
  • Initiative and drive to do great things., * Experience with asynchronous multiplayer, social features and content delivery systems.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, SDKs, analytics and CI/CD pipelines for Unity projects.
  • Understand general business concepts to interpret critical metrics for the product.
  • Familiarity with classic casino games such as slots, bingo, roulette and others.
