Job description
- Lead the operational management, governance, and enhancement of the Veeva CRM platform.
- Manage and mentor the CRM support team, including prioritization and execution oversight.
- Oversee CRM releases, change management, issue prioritization, and platform health.
- Partner with Commercial Operations, IT, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Conduct discovery sessions and gather business and technical requirements.
- Create functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support design, development, testing, deployment, UAT, and post-launch activities.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Field Operations, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Omnichannel, and IT teams.
- Drive CRM process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, vendors, and deliverables.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced CRM & Field Systems Director to provide interim leadership for Commercial Field Operations. This hands-on leadership role will oversee the Veeva CRM platform, lead CRM operations and governance, manage a support team, gather and document technical business requirements, and partner with Commercial Operations, IT, and external vendors to deliver strategic CRM initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep pharmaceutical/biotech CRM expertise, extensive Veeva CRM experience, and strong leadership and project management skills., * Veeva CRM implementation, administration, and operational leadership

Qualification:
- 10+ years of experience supporting Commercial or Field Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Extensive experience implementing, enhancing, and managing Veeva CRM.
- Proven experience serving as a CRM business owner or product owner.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial processes, including sales force operations, call reporting, targeting, alignments, and customer engagement.
- Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills.
- Previous leadership of large-scale Veeva CRM implementations or transformation programs (preferred).
- Experience working with Commercial IT organizations (preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM integrations, analytics, incentive compensation, digital engagement, and customer master data (preferred).
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Salesforce platform architecture knowledge is a plus.
