Job description

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia., * Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the technical aspects of cybersecurity

  • Research and scholarship in the area of expertise
  • Professional service to the Department, College, and University.
  • The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.

Requirements

  • A doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline, is required at the time of hire., * Applicants with a doctorate degree earned from an AACSB accredited college/school.
  • Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses).
  • Documentation of technical skills in cybersecurity.
  • Record of research accomplishments.
