Job description

Develop, upgrade, and refresh course materials for System Dynamics graduate education. Develop assignments and testing instruments to teach and assess student knowledge in these domain areas. Provide feedback to students on their learning and assessments.

Guide research in System Dynamics domains.

Assist the government in acquiring new solutions in the Systems Dynamics domains by writing technical requirements, user stories, interoperability exchanges, acquisition plans and schedules, test plans, and test data needed to fully realize intelligence modernization.

Guide students, perform analysis and experimental work through STELLA modeling to understand and analyze complex, dynamic systems in development and acquisition.

Define the architecture, workflow, feedback loops, causal relationships within a system to understand systems' behaviors over time.

Investigate existing deployed systems for potential upgrades or more intensive system dynamics review.

Conduct mission, task, and function analyses of military systems at a level of detail suitable for alternative design decisions.

Provide user engagement strategies, collated results from user engagements, and requirements derived from user experiences.

Conduct system analysis using system dynamics models, fault trees, event trees, root-cause analyses, and other appropriate system analysis tools., * Location: On-Site; This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, test & evaluation facilities, and from home when the mission allows.

Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-30%; Less than 30% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Working Hours: This is a Part Time On Call (PTOC) position. Normal days and hours will be Monday-Friday 0800-1700, and other times as required. Basic Compensation:
$65-80/hour
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

Requirements

Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Experience developing curriculum, course management, Canvas learning management system.

Earned doctoral degree in Systems Dynamics, Systems Engineering, or related fields.

Experience in teaching Systems Dynamics and guiding research in a military graduate education environment.
-
At least ten (10) years' related work experience is required.
