The Global Systems Integration team has a vision of building a hyperconnected future. Our team brings a tool agnostic perspective to our clients, meeting them where they're at and providing tailored solutions to meet them on their enterprise integration journey and walk with them as they mature their integrated solutions. The experts on this team are dedicated to delivering client centric solutions focused on Business Process Automation, Integration Strategy & Architecture, API management, and Cloud, Application, & Data Integrations. We are currently seeking a full time employee to assist us on integration projects, inclusive of design and implementation.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements define technical roadmaps and priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
  • Design scalable, high-performance architectural solutions and customized integration architecture blueprints tailored to client needs.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions using iPaaS tools such as Snaplogic, Boomi, Workato or cloud solutions.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, including message schemas and data mappings.
  • Be capable of working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting during the implementation phase.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to client project teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Snaplogic integration technologies, providing leading practices and recommendations.
  • Assist clients in optimizing and maintaining their integration solutions.
  • Proactively escalate risks and issues to project and client teams
  • Design and implement AI integrated architectures including services such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning APIs, document intelligence and event-driven automation into enterprise integration solutions.
  • Apply responsible AI and data governance principles (security, privacy, human-in-the-loop) when designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, security, product, business) to ensure AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Configure and integrate AI services into workflows, APIs, and automation platforms under guidance.
  • Assist in prompt design, evaluation, and iteration to improve reliability, accuracy, and business relevance of AI-driven capabilities.
  • Support testing, validation, and monitoring of AI-enabled integrations, including handling edge cases, failures, and model limitations.
  • Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and documentation related to AI-enabled integration patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in integration development, architecture and design.
  • Proven experience in a consulting role, working directly with clients.
  • Proficiency with middleware tools like Snaplogic, Boomi or Workato
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and leading practices
  • Strong understanding of API management, RESTful and SOAP web services, and message queuing. Experience with cloud integration platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with Python or Java
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in relevant integration technologies or platforms.
  • Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and common enterprise AI use cases.
  • Experience or exposure integrating AI services via APIs into enterprise systems, workflows, or automation platforms.
  • Awareness of AI risks and controls, including data privacy, model bias, security, and compliance considerations.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled services such as text generation, summarization, classification, extraction, or conversational interfaces.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and techniques with ability to iterate prompts based on testing and feedback.
  • Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn in a fast-evolving AI ecosystem.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:The targeted base salary pay range for a Consultant is $115,000 to $141,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
