Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead enterprise data initiatives within a large-scale environment, preferably in the Telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data architects to define product vision, prioritize backlogs, and deliver scalable data platform solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the product roadmap for enterprise data platforms.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories and product backlogs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure successful delivery of data products while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
• Work closely with data governance teams to ensure data quality, metadata management, and compliance.
• Prioritize features based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Coordinate with development teams to deliver scalable data pipelines and enterprise data solutions.
• Track project progress, remove blockers, and communicate status to leadership.

• Proven experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably within the Telecommunications industry.

• Strong understanding of:

• Metadata Management

• Data Lineage

Familiarity with enterprise data technologies including:

• Data Warehouses
• Data Lakes
• ETL/ELT Tools
• Cloud Data Services

Experience with AI-powered automation tools, particularly for:

• Data Pipeline Development
• Data Governance
• Forecasting

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.

• Hands-on knowledge of modern data lake technologies such as:

• AWS Redshift

• Snowflake

• Databricks

Experience with Agile tools including:

• Jira
• Confluence
• ServiceNow
• Similar project management tools

Understanding of:

• Data Processing
• Data Governance
• Data Lifecycle Management

Knowledge of data visualization tools such as:

• Tableau
• Orbit

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.
