Job description
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Solution Architect and Onsite Technical Enabler who can act as a forward-deployed engineer embedded directly with our clients. This person will serve as the primary technical bridge between client stakeholders (CXOs, Product Managers, Architects) and offshore/distributed engineering teams -translating business needs into actionable technical roadmaps, driving architecture decisions in real time, and taking ownership of solution design from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments, is comfortable being the face of engineering onsite, and takes full ownership of outcomes rather than simply executing tickets., Client Partnership & Forward Deployment
- Act as the primary onsite technology SME for client stakeholders, embedding directly within client teams to build trust and accelerate delivery.
- Facilitate onsite discovery workshops, requirement finalization sessions, and architecture alignment meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
- Bridge business and technology teams by translating ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable technical designs and roadmaps.
- Support pre-sales and client expansion activities, including solution demonstrations, POCs/POVs, RFI/RFP responses, and cost estimation.
Solution Architecture & Ownership
- Own end-to-end solution design -from architecture blueprint to delivery -for cloud-native, scalable, and secure systems.
- Conceptualize and architect solutions leveraging AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Azure, applying Well-Architected Framework principles across performance, security, reliability, scalability, and cost (FinOps).
- Define and implement scalable landing zones, including greenfield cloud environments and migration strategies for clients at varying levels of cloud maturity.
- Drive modernization initiatives such as monolith-to-microservices transformations, containerization, and adoption of cloud-native and serverless patterns.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI / GenAI approaches) where they create measurable business value.
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and enablement to both onsite and offshore engineering teams, ensuring architectural governance and consistent standards.
- Ensure governance, security, and compliance alignment across global/distributed deployments while balancing innovation with enterprise-grade stability.
- Conduct architectural assessments and co-create solution blueprints to accelerate delivery readiness and reduce time-to-value.
- Own technical decision-making onsite, escalating and resolving blockers quickly to keep distributed delivery teams unblocked.
What Success Looks Like
- Client stakeholders view this person as a trusted technical advisor and the go-to point of contact for architecture decisions.
- Offshore/distributed teams receive clear, well-documented technical direction that reduces rework and accelerates delivery.
- Solutions delivered are secure, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes -not just technically correct.
- Demonstrated measurable impact: cost optimization, reduced time-to-market, improved system reliability, or successful modernization outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud engineering, or a related technical leadership role, with prior experience working directly onsite with clients.
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure at an enterprise scale.
- Strong hands-on background in microservices architecture, backend development (Java/Spring Boot or equivalent), and modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
- Demonstrated experience acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, including running discovery workshops and translating requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD tooling, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Experience contributing to pre-sales activities such as RFPs/RFIs, POCs, and solution demonstrations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills -comfortable presenting to CXOs and technical teams alike.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)., * Experience across multiple industry verticals such as Healthcare, BFSI, Retail, or Travel & Hospitality.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Cognito, CloudWatch, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, and related cloud-native services.
- Strong experience designing microservices, event-driven, serverless, and API-first architectures using .Net and Angular.
- Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications through monolith-to-microservices transformation, containerization, cloud migration, and domain-driven architecture.
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeBuild for DevSecOps and platform automation.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Experience building reusable engineering accelerators, enterprise frameworks, SDKs, configurable platforms, or shared architectural components that improve delivery speed and engineering productivity.
- Familiarity with GenAI/Agentic AI approaches and their practical application in enterprise solutions.
- Experience with identity and SSO frameworks (SAML, PingFederate, Cognito) and API management.
- Exposure to data platforms and analytics (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Looker, Power BI) is a plus.
- Prior experience in a hybrid onsite-offshore delivery model.
