SAP Application Architect S/4HANA Development

We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Architect S/4HANA Development to lead SAP HANA and S/4HANA transformation initiatives for a confidential Aerospace & Defense client. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP on HANA, S/4HANA architecture, code remediation, performance optimization, and SAP integration technologies. This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of driving migration strategies, optimizing custom developments, and guiding development teams through complex SAP transformation programs.

Technical Skills Hands on experience with S/4 HANA Strong core ABAP skills Strong ABAP for HANA skills (RAP, CDS views, AMDP, oData services etc) SAP Integration (RFC, BAPI, Proxy programming, AIF etc.) Performance optimization Debugging and troubleshooting complex issues Functional knowledge Understanding of SAP modules like SD, PS Additional Skills- Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication Documentation, unit testing

Hands-on and leadership skills in managing projects that include Application architecture of SAP HANA, Suite on HANA Migrations-including Hanatization (Code Remediation), S/4HANA Migration using the tool Custom Development Migration Worklist. Defines the code pushdown strategy by comparing various techniques and recommends various tools for optimization. Strong knowledge in S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration and can apply them based on client's business requirement. Works as a trusted advisor who can guide the team in S/4HANA and SoH Implementation/Migration Project. Possesses skills in installing, configuring and using HANA Studio with the ABAP development tool. Knowledge of the HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA Modeling tools. Able to identify objects for optimization and apply advanced HANA Code push features to include advanced OPEN SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL and HANA SQL Script add-ons.
