Job description

join our team for the authoritative DNS platforms. These platforms hold the definitive records for various end-customer domain names. The Team is responsible for the entire lifecycle and further development. You will be working closely with our supplier and devops engineers to design, integrate, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot authoritative DNS platforms. Responsibilities and Duties - - Implementation and operation of physical, virtualized and containerized system environments - Analysis, troubleshooting and documentation of system malfunctions - Regular checks and refinement of automated processes and strategies such as failover, deployment and disaster recovery to ensure a highly available and resilient system with minimum recovery time - Development and optimization of scripts (Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python) as well as K8s configurations - Evaluating of new methods and tools for data analysis and monitoring - Identification, documentation and structuring of new test use cases - Implementing changes in test, reference and productive systems to enhance system stability and/or provide new features - Cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end system functionality - Collaborate closely with the German operations team to streamline processes, enhance software, tools and system performance and apply innovative technologies and concepts Qualifications Must-have Requirements - - Fundamental knowledge of DNS (PowerDNS, DoH/DoT/DoQ) --> preferably you have worked in a TelCo company - Extensive know-how in working with and debugging Kubernetes to orchestrate CNFs - Proficiency in using as well as adapting configurations for K8s is a must - Experience with IP networks, router and LAN/WAN technologies as well as troubleshooting them with tracing tools (e.g. wireshark, vTAP) - Hands-on experience of monitoring systems and data analytics (Prometheus, Medusa, …) Nice-to-have Requirements - - Very good analytical skills combined with
