The Internal IT team is responsible for all IT related matters of our employees, from workplace devices to the company wide application landscape. We rely on modern equipment, cloud technologies and powerful tools to optimally support our employees and create sustainable business value. In doing so, we make a key contribution to the success of our company. As Dynamics 365 Platform Owner for our internal IT, you take end-to-end ownership of our Microsoft business application landscape, including Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central and custom applications built on the Power Platform. This role is aimed at someone who combines platform ownership with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset and enjoys turning business challenges into sustainable solutions.
This is what you get up for in the morning:
- End-to-end ownership and strategic development of our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform landscape, including Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central and custom business applications based on Power Platform.
- Own the full lifecycle of changes and user stories, from requirements and solution design through implementation, testing, adoption and productive go-live.
- Identify opportunities to digitalize, simplify and automate end-to-end business processes.
- Design and introduce new solutions and applications on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Configure and customize applications independently and coordinate more complex developments with internal developers and external partners.
- Ensure stable and reliable operation of business-critical applications, including incident and problem management.
- Plan and coordinate releases, platform updates and upgrades.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product and platform owner, developers and data engineers to build integrated and scalable solutions.
- Conduct workshops and trainings and actively drive user adoption.
- Support access, security role and license management within the platform.
- Take over deputy and backup responsibilities for additional business-critical applications within the Internal IT application landscape.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform or comparable business application platforms.
- Strong experience in application or platform management, ideally in a senior or ownership role.
- Good understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse and Power Platform; experience with Business Central is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
- Pronounced ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for a business-critical platform.
- Strong hands-on mentality and technical affinity, with the ability to independently configure and customize applications.
- Experience with low-code/no-code development and platform integration is an advantage.
- Courage to explore new approaches, quickly validate ideas and continuously improve solutions.
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style.
- Very good English skills; German is considered an advantage.
