Systems Engineer - Rail

• Lead a small, experienced, and collaborative team
• Manage the mechanical integration of all train systems into a fully coordinated 3D model
• Produce associated installation drawings for a rolling stock / rail transport project
• Coordinate activity across a multidisciplinary group of around 30 people

Technologies:

• 3D
• Marketing

• Rolling stock mechanical systems integration experience
• Good knowledge of the different systems of rolling stock
• Experience working with customer system design vendors
• Experience with problem resolution in design integration and clashing
• Experience with stack-up calculations and root cause analysis of engineering problems

We are an engineering company specialising in solving complex engineering challenges across industries, including power generation and rail. This is a permanent, site-based Systems Engineer role in the Derby area. We offer a salary circa £45,000 per annum, training and development, and career progression.
