Job description
- We work in a trading environment, so you will need to operate confidently across the design lifecycle from research and ideation through to execution and developer handoff, potentially in unfamiliar or high-complexity domains.
- You will plan and conduct research and usability testing, including with specialist users such as traders, risk analysts and operations teams.
- You will facilitate sessions to help trading users, business analysts and stakeholders clarify complex problems in high-pressure and time-sensitive contexts.
- You will produce journey maps, UX flows, wireframes and both low- and high-fidelity prototypes to communicate intent and align teams around design direction.

- UX UI Design, We are recruiting on behalf of our trading client in London for a Product Designer on a contract basis starting ASAP until March 2027. This is an opportunity to work in a trading environment on complex, high-impact design challenges. Requirements
- We are looking for designers with demonstrable years of experience across UX, UI or product design, with exposure to the full design lifecycle across operational or enterprise environments.
- We are looking for a strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving, strong design craft and impact, ideally in contexts like data-rich tools, workflow design or operational systems.
- We need strong proficiency in Figma and FigJam, including working with design systems and interactive prototyping in collaborative workflows.
- We need a solid understanding of usability and accessibility standards such as WCAG and ISO 9241, and how to apply them to complex, high-density interfaces.
- You should be proactive and accountable, able to take ownership, manage ambiguity and move work forward without close direction.
- You should be pragmatic and delivery-aware, balancing user needs with business goals, technical and regulatory constraints, and shifting priorities.
- You should be able to collaborate confidently with trading users, stakeholders, business analysts and developers in environments where accuracy, speed and alignment are critical.
- You should have strong analytical thinking skills to understand and improve service-level or process-level flows in multi-system or cross-team environments.
- You should be willing to support more junior team members through peer mentoring, feedback and collaborative working.
