Job description
This is an opportunity to become part of a specialist team responsible for ensuring complex software systems meet demanding quality, reliability and regulatory standards. The role
You'll define and execute verification activities across embedded software projects, helping ensure solutions are delivered to the highest possible standards.
Working closely with software engineers and architects, you'll support quality throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Develop verification strategies and test plans
- Carry out software verification and validation activities
- Perform requirements-based testing
- Support system integration and qualification testing
- Produce technical documentation and compliance evidence
- Maintain traceability throughout development
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure software quality
Requirements
- Strong background in software verification or validation
- Experience working within regulated engineering environments
- Understanding of embedded software
- Requirements-based testing experience
- Knowledge of verification methodologies
- Experience producing technical or compliance documentation
Desirable
- Experience working to recognised safety-critical software standards
- Aerospace, defence, robotics or advanced engineering
- SIL, HIL or SIH testing
- Static analysis or formal verification
- Fault injection, automated testing or simulation
- Embedded real-time software
