Job description

SMX is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to provide senior-level operational support for enterprise classified networks. Responsibilities include system administration, network monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support to ensure continuous mission availability., * Maintain enterprise Windows and Linux servers.

  • Administer Active Directory.
  • Monitor network performance.
  • Perform system patching.
  • Execute configuration management.
  • Respond to outages and incidents.
  • Support hardware and software upgrades.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Perform routine health checks.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years administering enterprise systems.
  • Experience with Windows Server.
  • Experience with Linux administration.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.
  • Experience implementing DISA STIGs.
  • Security+ CE.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Microsoft certification.
  • Red Hat certification.
  • VMware certification.
  • Experience supporting Army Mission Networks.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools.
