Job description
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of radar and AI/ML specialists to redefine the boundaries of computer vision technologies. The team is seeking a partner that brings deep technical expertise, forward-thinking innovation, and a strategic approach to AI/ML development, enabling us to solve real-world problems with lasting solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python for developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML models.
- Strong experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, JAX) for building and training neural networks.
- Hands-on experience with computer vision libraries and tools (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image, PIL) for image processing and analysis.
- Knowledge of deep learning architectures for detection and classification tasks, such as CNNs, YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or Vision Transformers.
- Knowledge of evaluation metrics for detection and classification tasks (e.g., mAP, precision, recall, F1-score, IoU).
- Familiarity with handling imbalanced datasets and techniques like transfer learning or fine-tuning pre-trained models.
- Optional: Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) for object detection, including image formation and handling SAR data formats (CPHD, SICD, SIDD).
- Optional: Proficiency in Gaussian Splatting for 3D scene reconstruction, with skills in optimizing rendering pipelines and integrating with tools like COLMAP.
- Optional: Experience with Reasoning Models or LLMs, including fine-tuning for multimodal tasks.
- Optional: Expertise in optimized edge deployment using quantization, pruning, or frameworks (e.g., ONNX, TensorRT) for real-time ATR on resource-constrained devices.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in AI/ML software development, preferably in computer vision or related fields.
- Proven track record of implementing detection and classification models for imagery (e.g., object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation).
- Experience with end-to-end ML pipelines, including data collection, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with deploying models in production environments using tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
Supplementary Criteria
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., radar scientists, managers).
- Ability to stay updated with advancements in AI/ML and computer vision research.
