- Oversee Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), ensuring reliable collaboration and system performance.
- Design, implement, and support VMware virtual infrastructures and VOIP systems, focusing on scalability, resilience, and successful migrations.
- Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues, driving root cause analysis, long-term solutions, and operational improvements.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and system hardening.
- Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and franchise locations to provide expert guidance, document technical procedures, and support IT project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a Senior Systems Engineer.
- 10-15 years as a Microsoft Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- 10+ years managing VMware virtual infrastructures and VOIP environments, including migration leadership.
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity principles, risk mitigation, and enterprise system hardening.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
