Job description
- Design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure across branch offices, data centers, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Engineer and administer LAN and WAN technologies, including MPLS, Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), and SD-WAN solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements that enhance network stability, performance, and security.
- Partner with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to deliver networking initiatives and support operational requirements.
- Develop and implement network solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.
- Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, compliance assessments, optimization, and reporting.
- Support branch office deployments, infrastructure modernization efforts, and technology transformation initiatives.

Requirements
- 5+ years of network engineering experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routing, switching, and wireless networking solutions.
- Experience leading or supporting branch office network deployments across small, mid-sized, and large-scale environments.
- Experience implementing network security controls and utilizing network monitoring and logging platforms such as SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK, or similar solutions.
- Experience performing network performance analysis, optimization, compliance reviews, capacity planning, and operational reporting.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to approximately 35%, based on business requirements.

- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience designing, architecting, planning, and implementing routing, switching, and data center networking solutions in multi-vendor environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion.
Preferences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Experience with Cisco Wireless, Cisco SD-WAN, Software-Defined Access (SDA), and Fortinet technologies.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and standards including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), OSPF, BGP, DNS, and 802.1X authentication.
