HarmonyTech is seeking a talented, self-motivated Senior .NET Software Developer to join our team in a challenging, consultative, and collaborative environment. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software solutions for our customers while serving as a technical leader within an Agile SCRUM team. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, business stakeholders, and fellow developers to deliver scalable, high-quality applications and mentor junior team members.
This position is based in Herndon, VA (onsite, no telework) and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required., * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise .NET Windows and/or modern Web applications.
- Strong experience with .NET, ASP.NET, C#, IIS, XML, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of relational database design (RDBMS) and extensive experience writing and optimizing SQL stored procedures.
- Experience working with ALM tools such as IBM Jazz, Azure DevOps (TFS), or similar.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing existing software systems by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions using established software engineering principles.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and common design patterns.
- Experience participating in Agile/SCRUM software development methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, leadership, and customers.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience automating builds and deployments.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and modern development best practices.
- Experience supporting applications throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Previous experience working on federal government or Public Trust projects is a plus.
