Job description
- Process purchase requests (PRs) and coordinate purchase order (PO) activity with Supplier Management.
- Track parts, materials, and shipping status to support maintenance schedules.
- Review Air Force Technical Orders, parts lists, engineering drawings, and aircraft modification data to verify part requirements.
- Research obsolete parts, materials, and tooling needed to sustain aging aircraft.
- Develop recommendations for spare parts stocking, reorder points, and inventory disposition.
- Coordinate scrap and part disposal activities with government representatives.
- Submit monthly equipment calibration purchase requests.
- Generate job orders and process technician part requests.
- Perform physical inventory counts and issue parts to maintenance technicians.
- Process serviceable and unserviceable part turn-ins and monitor Do-In-From-Maintenance (DIFM) assets.
- Collaborate with Boeing Engineering, Supplier Management, USAF personnel, and government stakeholders to support aircraft sustainment.
- Utilize systems such as GOLD and Microsoft Office to manage inventory and logistics activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Typically 2+ years of experience in logistics, systems support, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional engineering, logistics, and government teams.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance., * Experience with U.S. Air Force supply and logistics processes.
- Active U.S. security clearance.
- Experience with warehouse inventory management and materials control.
- Familiarity with aerospace parts, materials, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with the GOLD inventory management system or similar logistics platforms.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $42.00 to $51.00 per hour
