Job description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in full-stack development, backend engineering, automation platforms, and agentic AI systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs, CRUD-based application flows, and database-backed services. You should have experience with both frontend and backend features, microservice integrations, and distributed workflows utilizing technologies such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, HTML, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and CRUD-based application flows.

Develop and debug AI-enabled systems where LLMs interact with tools, APIs, workflows, and execution engines.

Perform system design, root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.

Build, support, and operate production systems across frontend behavior, backend APIs, database persistence, event streams, infrastructure, and runtime services.

Develop and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
Requirements

Proficient in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Agentic AI Agents.

Understanding of programming languages, with a preference for Rust.

Foundational understanding of containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with frontend integrations using TypeScript and JavaScript.

Benefits & conditions
This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $118000.00/hr.
