Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support the deployment and integration of our building automation software within client IT environments. This role will serve as a technical liaison between our organization and client IT teams, ensuring successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of our enterprise-level solutions.

How you will do it:

Software Deployment & Integration

  • Assist clients in deploying our building automation software on Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server environments.
  • Assist with SQL database updates and management, queries and dataset manipulation.
  • Configure and integrate Linux-based components as part of the overall solution.
  • Ensure proper installation and connectivity of devices across multiple buildings to the enterprise server.

Enterprise IT Planning

  • Collaborate with client IT leadership to design and implement networking architecture for multi-building deployments.
  • Advise on security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Develop processes and documentation for application migration and enterprise rollout.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical guidance for routine software updates and patches.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to application performance, connectivity, and configuration.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex IT-related problems.

Client Engagement

  • Act as project manager for multiple simultaneous projects at various stages of completion. Responsible for customer coordination for software upgrades and deployments, hold and attend customer meetings, respond to customer inquiries, and drive the projects to completion.
  • Interface with client IT departments to align deployment strategies and change control documentation to satisfy organization policies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to help clients understand deployment and management of our IT products.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure long-term success of the solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience
  • 5+ years in IT systems deployment, networking, or enterprise application support.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise networking design, security protocols, and multi-site connectivity.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with building automation systems or IoT deployments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Network+, or similar.
