Job description

SMX is seeking a Senior Computer Information Systems Manager to oversee daily operations of enterprise mission systems, ensuring availability, reliability, and operational performance across a highly available classified environment. This role leads incident response, operational planning, and continuous service improvement., * Lead operations of enterprise mission systems.

  • Monitor system availability and performance.
  • Manage incident response and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts.
  • Develop operational procedures.
  • Coordinate change management.
  • Support configuration management activities.
  • Provide technical leadership to system administration personnel.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years supporting enterprise IT operations.
  • Experience leading enterprise operations teams.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, and enterprise storage.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Experience supporting RMF environments.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • ITIL Foundation.
  • CISSP
  • VMware VCP
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • Experience supporting Army Enterprise infrastructure
