Mobile Application Developer

They are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with deep expertise in native Android development and a strong understanding of iOS development. In this role, you will help build and enhance mobile applications that support critical healthcare initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent experiences across both Android and iOS platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful technology initiatives in healthcare while working within a collaborative development environment. The position offers long-term potential, with the possibility of contract extensions. Location: Hybrid (Denver, CO preferred) – onsite approximately three days per month. Remote candidates may also be considered.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, and the Android SDK.
• Partner with iOS developers to deliver consistent functionality, user experience, and coordinated feature releases across both mobile platforms.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to support secure data synchronization, file transfers, and communication between mobile applications and backend services.
• Execute application testing, troubleshoot issues, manage pre-release deployments, and support quality assurance through beta testing platforms.
• Maintain mobile applications by implementing updates, managing third-party libraries and assets, publishing releases to mobile app stores, and adapting code for evolving Android and iOS operating system updates.

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on native Android application development.
• Advanced experience with Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, and the Android SDK.
• Working knowledge of iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C with Xcode; hands-on experience is highly preferred.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and building scalable, maintainable mobile applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in an Agile development environment.
