Job description
Southeastern Louisiana University's Office of Technology invites applications for the position of Development and Database Coordinator. The Development and Database Coordinator is a position that directs and leads the systems analysis and programming efforts for Office of Technology (OT) projects, including the Workday project. This position supervises staff in designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining computer applications systems and programs as well as designs, develops, tests, implements and maintains applications systems and programs. This position will review and approve projects before migration to the production environment. This position will work with the Director of Programming and Web Services to develop and maintain change control practices for software applications and OT projects. Must possess a valid Louisiana driver's license and the ability to successfully complete the Southeastern Driver Safety Course.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) from an accredited university by hire date. Four or more years of application development experience consisting of ERP development, SQR programming, XML reporting, as well as Workday Integration, Report and Studio development, or similar technologies. Experience as a team member working on a Workday implementation project. Robust knowledge of SQL. Working knowledge of relational databases (such as Oracle, SQL server, MySql).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in Higher Education.
