Werkstudent IT Demand Management Enterprise Architecture

• As a working student, you will assist in evaluating components of the enterprise AI platform, verifying vendors' claims against their actual capabilities.
• Another part of your role will be tracking regulatory and market developments relevant to GETEC's AI strategy and summarizing their implications.
• You will support prompt engineering and experimental activities with various model providers, including large language models as well as image and diffusion models. The focus here is on documenting results and key insights.
• You will also assist in developing small proof-of-concept workflows.
• Supporting the Technology Board, the Technology Radar, and the roadmap is an important part of your role.
• Furthermore, you'll contribute to architecture decision documents (ADRs) and evaluations of AI initiatives.
• A key aspect of the position is translating technical AI insights into materials that support governance and communication with stakeholders.
• Over the course of the year, you'll take responsibility for a defined research topic or experiment and work on it with increasing autonomy.

• You are a currently enrolled student in a master's program or in the final stage of a bachelor's program in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Practical experience with LLMs and generative AI, including prompt engineering and working with AI platforms or APIs.
• Solid knowledge of Python and the ability to work independently with technical documentation and new technologies.
• A strong interest in AI governance, responsible AI, and current developments in the field of AI.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical topics in a way that is understandable to non-technical audiences.
• Business-level proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• An independent, structured approach to work combined with a high degree of reliability and discretion.
• Experience gained through personal projects, hackathons, research activities, or open-source contributions in the field of generative AI is desirable.
• An academic focus on topics such as natural language processing, computer vision, responsible AI, or related fields is a plus.
