Job description

You will work across frontend, backend, product workflows, APIs, data models, and user experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move quickly from ambiguous product requirements to clean, usable, production-quality software.

You should be comfortable building interfaces that make complex technical information understandable, while also owning the backend logic and data flows that power them.

What You'll Do

Build customer-facing product features across frontend and backend.

Design and implement clean workflows for uploading data, reviewing results, tracking decisions, and generating reports.

Build polished, information-dense interfaces for technical users.

Implement backend APIs, database models, validation logic, and background workflows.

Work with product and engineering leadership to turn messy internal workflows into simple user-facing flows.

Build dashboards, tables, forms, detail pages, review screens, and report views.

Improve UX quality: loading states, empty states, errors, responsiveness, navigation, and visual clarity.

Integrate authentication, permissions, file handling, and customer workspace concepts.

Write tests and maintain high standards for correctness, usability, and maintainability.

Collaborate closely with platform/infrastructure engineering on deployment, observability, and production readiness., Backend APIs and data models support real customer workflows cleanly.

Features are shipped with enough test coverage and polish to survive production use.

The product becomes easier to extend over time, not harder.

You help turn rough prototypes into a coherent platform.

Why Join

This is an early product engineering role with a lot of ownership. You will help define the core user experience, frontend architecture, backend workflows, and product quality bar for Miraxis.

You will work directly with founders and technical users, ship visible product, and help turn a powerful prototype into a production platform.

Requirements

We care more about your ability to ship reliable product software than any single language or framework; if you've done this in an equivalent stack, we'd love to hear from you.

Strong full-stack product engineering experience.

Strong TypeScript and modern frontend framework experience (React or equivalent).

Experience with Next.js or a similar modern web framework.

Backend experience with Python, Node.js, Go, or similar.

Experience designing and consuming REST or RPC-style APIs.

Strong database fundamentals, especially PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases).

Ability to build complex, data-heavy interfaces without making them feel cluttered.

Good product judgment: you can spot when a workflow is confusing, not just when code compiles.

Comfort working in early-stage ambiguity and making pragmatic architecture decisions.

Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, API, and data state.

Clear written communication and care for maintainable code.

Nice To Have

Experience with FastAPI, SQLModel, Prisma, Django, Rails, or similar backend frameworks.

Experience with Tailwind, design systems, component libraries, or data visualization.

Experience building SaaS products for technical users.

Experience with file uploads, large data artifacts, background jobs, and generated reports.

Experience with AI/ML products, data platforms, review workflows, or internal tools.

Experience with auth, RBAC, audit logs, customer workspaces, or multi-tenant systems., 2. Technical deep dive on full-stack systems you have built.

  1. Practical product-building exercise or code review.
