Software Development Manager

Software Development Manager (CSG Systems Inc. d/b/a CSG, Englewood, CO) Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects. Manage activities related to planning, managing, and implementing software projects and programs. Provide guidance to an Agile software development team within CSG policies and management direction. Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements. Clear impediments and enable teams to convert requirements into highly visible applications by applying experience in application design and development. Perform scrum master ceremonies in an agile-based team environment to design and develop all layers of the solution including data, services, and user interfaces. Lead code reviews, test automation, and defect management. Lead and facilitate project and team design meetings. Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and testers to develop enhancements

in a highly iterative fashion. Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports to company HQ in Englewood, CO. Salary: $138,341 - $183,479.40 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience in a related occupation Must also have some experience with the following skills: Web standards protocols including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript and front-end frameworks including React and Angular; Service based architecture principles, RESTful services, and API design in .Net Core; Building scalable micro-services using .NET; Managing large-scale software development initiatives; Working with relational databases including SQL Server and Oracle; non-relational databases including Cosmos DB; Kafka; and Redis; Deploying applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure; Software development methodologies, processes, design, implementation, test, and
