Senior Windows Systems Administrator (Secret Clearance Required)

This position is ideal for an experienced Windows infrastructure professional with strong expertise in Windows Server, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, automation, enterprise systems administration, and DoD cybersecurity compliance., * Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Support VMware virtual infrastructure
• Configure and maintain Windows servers
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administration
• Apply DISA STIGs and maintain system compliance
• Support clustered and high-availability environments
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues
• Utilize Elastic Stack (ELK) for centralized logging and monitoring
• Support enterprise storage technologies including NetApp, VSAN, Commvault, and Cisco UCS
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior administrators
• Perform operating system upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and network engineering teams

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Security+ (or equivalent IAT Level II certification)
• 7+ years of Windows Systems Administration experience (education/experience combinations considered)
• Expert knowledge of:
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• VMware
• PowerShell
• Windows enterprise administration
• Experience applying DISA STIGs
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Windows Server certification
• Experience with ACAS
• Linux (RHEL) administration
• Database administration experience
• Python or Bash scripting
• Experience with Cisco UCS, NetApp, VSAN, or Commvault
• Experience with Elastic Stack (ELK), * Do you have enterprise experience administering Active Directory and Group Policy?
• Do you have experience writing PowerShell scripts for systems administration?
• Do you have experience applying DISA STIGs to Windows Server environments?
• Do you have experience administering the Elastic Stack (ELK)?
• Do you have experience with Cisco UCS, NetApp, VSAN, or Commvault?
• Do you have Linux (RHEL) server administration experience?
• Do you have experience using ACAS for vulnerability scanning?
• Do you have experience administering enterprise database management systems?

Experience:

• Windows Server administration : 7 years (Required)
• administering VMware environments: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Security+ Certification (Required)
• Microsoft Certification (Preferred)

Security clearance:

• Secret (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
