- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, VPNs, load balancing) and scripting (e.g. Bash, Python).
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker; Kubernetes or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management and encryption.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to reliability, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Right to work in the UK, or eligibility for sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker route.
Desirable
- Experience in fintech, payments or another regulated, high-availability environment.
- Cloud or DevOps certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, CKA).
- Experience with observability stacks (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
