Solution Architect

You will take ownership of end-to-end solution architecture, working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and successfully transitioned into live service., * Own the solution design throughout the full delivery life cycle

• Lead application modernisation initiatives within the wider programme
• Drive the development and documentation of high-quality solution designs
• Ensure all solutions align with architecture governance and best practices
• Collaborate with agile delivery teams and architects across all phases
• Act as the technical authority, working through design decisions and challenges
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders (internal & external)
• Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers
• Oversee technical problem resolution and ensure delivery aligns to agreed specifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex programmes

• Strong background in application modernisation and cloud migration

• Experience working with both Legacy systems and modern cloud ecosystems

• Knowledge of technologies such as:

• AWS, Azure

• Kubernetes, HELM

• Java, JavaScript

• Oracle, MySQL

Experience working in agile environments across full delivery life cycles

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor

Experience working within public sector or regulated environments (desirable)
